Not a lot to say here seeing as I don’t know much about this artist except that he is an electronic music producer from St. Petersburg, Russia. I found the music to be reminiscent of the Burial sound and that alone was enough for me to go and look for this mix tape of his – which has been released for free on his bandcamp page.
“Each track is like a pearl, born in the shell of an ugly oyster but shining bright, beautiful in its special own way. In fact, this beat tape pleads the beauty to be found in even the ugliest thing, the ruined and desolated elements that compose the realm of reality. Just take a look at the artwork cover to get a visual clue of what we mean. The rust is feared and scorned, but if you look close enough, it will start revealing to the spectator its delicate ornaments that make it beautiful. The eye needs to listen for the ear to see clearly, and this beat tape is the perfect argument to prove it. Did we mention it’s free ? Yeah. We’re like that at Gimme5. We give the beauty for the mere sake of spreading it. Round in circles, we dispel the wind overnight, up on a roof, and we allow a thorny path to be our long way home, though in doubt, the moonlight flit over the gill. If you don’t understand this last sentence, then you should probably rewind the tape and play it again – that is, if you bought the tape version, which you most definitely will, just cos a tape is the hypest item in this digital world. Then you’ll know, and you will be impatient, like us, to hold Nocow’s debut full-length LP. Soon”

Check out the new episode of The Producers from Vice. This is a unique series where the viewer gets to observe some of the biggest names in the music industry work in their natural setting. This episode features Benga who is known as one of the creators or founders of the genre dubstep. He is known for legendary tunes as…
Not the first remix of a track by Ellie Goulding and it sure wont be the last, regardless its worth a listen and why not download it while you’re at it.
The original mix is huge. Processed guitar’s power over precision drum-break edits, chunky synth lines whir and buzz and slabs of sub bass hold the foundation tight below the guttural bars of Dread MC and Genesis Elijah. First up on the remix is Ram Records flag-bearer, Hamilton. This guy is rolling at the top of his game a the moment, and doesn’t disappoint with this remarkable DnB edit. The production is snarling and super-tight with that unmistakable Hamilton groove. Dancefloor weaponry!
ILL Audio, Distinctives’ new signing, steps up next. He’s constructed a ferocious re-work that explores hi-energy dubstep territory to maximum effect. Ill Audio takes no prisoners! To finish, we wind it down a notch (or two) for Brioski’s disco edit. Stripping nearly all but the vocal from the original, this talented Italian’s refreshing adaptation finishes off the brace of remixes in style.
With an instrumental version for DJ’s and MC’s to boot, things are about a whole lot more exciting for the Hyper community worldwide!”

Listed Below are the results from this years DMA's that took place over the weekend
in the UK. Unfortunately their site doesn't have the results up so it too a little
bit of digging to find them. They also don't have the categories/nominees on their
site so I did my best creating a list that you can have a look through.
What are your thoughts on the results?
